The Friends of the Middleboro Public Library will host an elegant afternoon tea to support the library’s programs at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 25.

The event will be held in the 1903 section of the library, and will feature a menu of tea party snacks. 

On the menu are a variety of sandwiches, including chicken and cranberry, roast beef and pimento, goat cheese and fig, egg and bacon and cucumber basil. Cranberry orange and pumpkin cheese rosemary scones will be served, as will a variety of sweets: cranberry swirl cheesecake, spice cake, caramel apple shooters and macarons.
