Abstract art is coming to Middleboro as the True Grit Art Gallery prepares for the opening of their next gallery.

The gallery titled "Elements of Curiosity" features the work of Scituate based artist Kelly Russo. Opening night for the gallery will be Saturday, April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 38 Center Street in Middleboro.

The pieces in her gallery feature what she calls "organized chaos" reflecting the joys and trials of life as a mom and artist navigating a complex world.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with Russo at the gallery to hear her creative process and the stories behind her work. Adult refreshments will ber served.

The gallery will run from April 12 to May 3. The operating hours of True Grit Art Gallery are Tuesdays from 11am to 4pm, Wednesdays through Fridays from 10am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. Admission is free, and all are welcome to the opening reception on April 12.
