Christmas at the Oliver Estate: A Holiday Wonderland in Middleboro
MIDDLEBORO — The historic Oliver Estate of Middleboro has transformed into a twinkling, Christmas site of celebration.
Attendees can find festive holiday fun at the Oliver Estate, where the estate’s seven acres have been decorated with twinkling lights and will host events with festive music and seasonal activities for all ages.
The next holiday events will take place at the estate on Dec. 20 and 21 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $5, but entry for kids ages four and under is free.
Visitors can expect a Giant Christmas Village, model train displays and a festive Christmas market offering crafts and gifts. Children can also visit with Santa, and explore free children’s activities.
There is no parking at the Oliver Estate, and all guests must park at Middleboro Town Hall at 10 Nickerson Ave. A free door-to-door shuttle service will transport visitors directly from the Town Hall parking area to the estate and back throughout the evening.
The estate was originally built in the 1700s by Judge Peter Oliver. The estate now serves as a living museum and community gathering place.
The events are organized by the The Middleboro Tourism Committee and the May Flower Lodge of Freemasons.
