MIDDLEBORO — Discover Furoshiki — the ancient Japanese art of gift-wrapping and accessorizing with textiles at the Middleboro Public Library.

The Middleboro Public Library will be hosting the gift wrapping workshop on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.

Each participant will use existing materials already available around the house while learning the concepts of Mottainai (an expression of regret for wastefulness) and Kaizen by upcycling leftover fabrics.

The program is open to both adults and high school-aged students, and is funded by the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library.
