MIDDLEBORO — The Oak Point yard sale will open to residents and their guests Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and to the public Oct. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The contents of 16 storage garages will fill the Oak Point Ballroom at 200 Oak Point Drive.

Shoppers will have the chance to purchase a Walter Young Golden Wristband to re-enter the yard sale from 1-2 p.m. and take any remaining items at no charge. The wristband was Young’s idea, and is named in his memory after he passed away last year.
