LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Council on Ageing is in need of volunteers to transport seniors to medical appointments.

The Council on Aging needs help with driving seniors to out of town medical appointments. About two to three hours are required to transport individuals to the appointments. Volunteers will be reimbursed for mileage, but will have to use their own vehicle.

Rides are needed during business hours, between Monday and Friday. No driving is needed on the weekends.

“These are very important programs for our seniors that are only able to run with the help of volunteers,” stated the council in the July Lakeville Town Newsletter.
