Students send sweet treats to soldiers

LAKEVILLE — Fourth grade students of Mullein Hill Christian Academy in Lakeville found a sweet use for Halloween candy.
Under the direction of teacher Caitlyn Butler, the youngsters sorted through candy to be added to care packages shipped to deployed soldiers through Operation Shoebox.
The organization sends out between 350 and 400 care packages per year.
