Additional information about State Primaries in Middleboro
MIDDLEBORO — With the 2024 State Primaries just around the corner, here is what Middleboro voters need to know before they head to the polls.
The 2024 State Primary will take place on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Polls will be open from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
Precinct 1 votes at Oak Point Club House – 202 Oak Point Dr.
Precincts 2, 4, & 6 vote at Middleborough High School – 71 E Grove St
Precinct 3 votes at South Middleborough Fire Station – 566 Wareham St
Precincts 5 & 5A vote at Council on Aging – 558 Plymouth St
Precincts 7 & 7A vote at John T. Nichols, Jr. Middle School – 112 Tiger Dr
To be eligible to vote in the September 3rd State Primary, residents must register to vote or make any necessary changes to voter registration by Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024. Residents can check voter registration status, register to vote or make address or party changes on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website at www.sec.state.ma.us/OVR/.

Absentee voting is available for registered voters who qualify. This includes voters who will be absent from their town on Election Day, have a disability that prevents them from going to the polls, or have a religious belief preventing the same.
In Person Early Voting for the 2024 State Primary will run Saturday, August 24, 2022 - Friday, August 30, 2024. Unlike absentee voting, early voting is for every registered voter. Registered voters do not need an excuse or reason to vote early. Early voting may be done in person at the Middleboro Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave, during the following dates and times:
Saturday, August 24 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Monday, August 26 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday, August 27 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday, August 28 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday, August 29 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday, August 30 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Registered voters have the option to request an early voting ballot through the mail. Fill out an application and mail it to the Middleboro Town Clerk’s Office, 20 Centre Street, 1st Floor, Middleboro, MA 02346. Additional information and vote by mail applications are available at www.middleboroughma.gov/683/Vote-by-Mail.
Ballots can be returned by mail, dropped off at the Town Clerk’s Office during business hours, or deposited in the secure drop box located outside the Town Hall Annex, 20 Centre St, to the right of the entrance.

The Town Clerk’s Office is located in the Town Hall Annex at 20 Centre Street. Hours of operation are Mondays 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Contact the office with any questions at 508-946-2415.
