MIDDLEBOROUGH - Tina M. Rose, age 54, of Middleborough, formerly of Avon, died on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Wareham, Tina grew up and attended public schools in Middleborough and graduated from Middleborough High School, Class of 1988. She entered the US Army Reserve and completed basic training in Alabama. For years, Tina worked as a Corrections Officer at the Bridgewater House of Corrections and later transferred to the House of Corrections in Norfolk; she retired in 2010. Tina kept active and continued working at various jobs including bartending. Her biggest job was her family; Tina was devoted to her family and cherished time spent with loved ones.

Tina was the cherished daughter of Paul & Shirley (Pina) Rose of Middleborough; loving mother of Isaiah Pina and his father Nilton Pina of Avon and the late Aaron Ricker; cherished sister of Amy Rose of Boston; and dear niece of Betty, Pat and James. She is also survived by many caring cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to the visiting hours at the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak Street, Middleborough, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NOON, followed by a funeral service starting at 12:00 NOON.

Interment services will be private.
