Red, White and Blues Festival Aug. 26 to benefit local veterans
MIDDLEBORO — Red, White and Blues festival, a family-friendly event to benefit local veterans, will take place Saturday, Aug. 26 at the Middleboro Elks, 24 High St.
The event will be held rain or shine; activities will be moved inside in case of rain.
The day will include a motorcycle/car ride, corn hole tournament, chicken barbecue with fixings, vendors, music, a hot wheel race track and raffles.
Registration for the ride starts at 10 a.m. The ride begins at 11 a.m.
Those who are not riding are still invited. Doors open at noon; bring your own chairs.
Tequila Mockingbird will perform from 1 to 3 p.m. Dale & the Duds will play from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tickets for the concert only are $20. Tickets for the ride and concert are $20. Tickets for the concert and food are $35.
Kids younger than 12 are admitted free to the concert.
Tickets are available at the gate or in advance at the Elks.
