LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Annual Town Election will be held Monday, April 3 from noon to 8 p.m. at Ted Williams Camp, Loon Pond Lodge, 26 Precinct St.

Nomination papers for the town election will be available Jan. 9 at the Town Clerk’s office. The last day to obtain nomination papers is Feb. 9. The deadline to return nomination papers is Feb. 13.

Anyone wishing to obtain nomination papers should contact the Town Clerk’s office at (508) 946-8800 to make an appointment. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon Friday. 

Positions to be filled include: a one-year term for moderator; one two-year unexpired term for Cemetery Commissioner and two two-year unexpired terms for Park Commissioner; one three-year term for Select Board member; Board of Assessors; Board of Health; Cemetery Commissioner; Finance Committee; Park Commissioner and Library Trustee.

There is also an opening for one Planning Board member for a five-year term.

One three-year term is open for a Lakeville representative to the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District Committee.
