Lakeville Arts Council proposals due Oct. 17

LAKEVILLE — Lakeville Arts Council seeks funding proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities and science programs. The proposals are due Oct. 17.

These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Lakeville, including exhibits, performances, workshops for children or adults, and lectures.

For 2022, the Lakeville Arts Council will distribute approximately $8,000 in grants. A few of the funded projects in the past have included Lakeville Library’s Wild About Reading, Family Trivia and Ukulele Lessons, All America Singing at the COA, the Lakeville Historical Society’s presentation of the African-American Faces of Civil War and Soule Homestead Educational Center Outdoor Concert Series, among several others.
