LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Council on Aging will host its annual Gentlemen’s Day Celebration at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at its facility in Lakeville. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

Previously known as the Fathers’ Day Celebration, the event is open to all gentlemen and will feature a performance by local entertainer Matt York. York will present “The Highwaymen: Songs and Stories,” a solo show highlighting the music and lives of country supergroup The Highwaymen — Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson.

Loon Pond Lodge will cater the luncheon, which includes macaroni and cheese, Buffalo chicken sliders, mini smash burgers, coleslaw, chips, brownies and ice cream.

The event is free for Lakeville residents. Non-residents and other guests are welcome for a $5 fee, due at the time of registration. Entertainment is funded by a grant from the Lakeville Cultural Council, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
