MIDDLEBORO — A weekly coffee hour for veterans is hosted by the Middleboro Elks Lodge every Wednesday.

The "Cup of Joe & What Veterans Need to Know," weekly event takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday. The program alternates locations each week, offering a social and informational gathering for veterans.

Every first and third Wednesday, the event takes place at the Middleboro Elks Lodge, located at 24 High St.. On the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, the coffee hour is held at 156 W. Elm St., the Brockton Veteran Affairs building.

The next event will take place Wednesday, July 2, at the Middleboro Elks Lodge.

No sign-up is required and all veterans are welcome. The program occasionally features guest speakers. Organizers are seeking additional volunteers for the Brockton Veteran Affairs meetings.
