Vincent (Vinny) Lalli, 73
Vincent (Vinny) Lalli, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and US Navy Veteran passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 19 at the age of 73. His departure leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but his memory will forever live on as we celebrate the vibrant and joyous life he led.
Vinny was a true beacon of light, the life of every gathering, and the soul of every party. His infectious smile and vibrant personality could light up a room and put a smile on anyone’s face. He had an incredible ability to make everyone around him feel at ease, and his magnetic charm drew people from all walks of life to him. His genuine kindness and warm-hearted nature endeared him to countless friends, earning him a special place in their hearts.
Vinny’s passions were evident in every facet of his life. He had an unwavering love for sports, spending countless hours cheering for his favorite teams and sharing his enthusiasm with friends and family. But perhaps one of his greatest joys was being out on the water, rod in hand, as an avid fisher. The tranquility of nature and the thrill of the catch were sources of solace and happiness for him.
Above all else, Vinny cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife Arlene, who stood by his side through thick and thin, offering unwavering support and love throughout their journey together. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and commitment, an inspiration to all who witnessed it.
As a grandfather, Vinny’s heart swelled with joy and pride every time he saw his grandchildren. His love for them knew no bounds, and he took immense pleasure in spending time with them, showering them with affection and sharing in their joys and accomplishments. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to call him Papa.
Vinny’s legacy goes beyond the fun-loving moments. He was a loyal person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His sense of humor, kindness, and generosity endeared him to everyone he met, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
He is survived by his loving wife Arlene and his devoted children Patricia Tauber-Lalli and her wife Kelly, Christopher Lalli and his wife Michelle, Brian Lalli and his long-time girlfriend Nicole Salibe, and his adoring grandchildren Kaitlyn, Amanda, Gavin, and Trevor. His brothers Stephen Lalli and his wife Rosemary, Kenneth Lalli and his wife Kathryn.
His brother-in laws Joseph Ahl and his wife Kris, Kenneth Ahl and his wife Maureen. His Aunts Lorraine Lalli and her partner Laura Birmingham and Theresa Gay
He will be missed by a wide circle of best friends like Frank and Charlene Saunders and many Nieces and Nephews who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
As Vinny joins others in heaven, we take solace in knowing that he is reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. His loving parents Chester and Esther, his mother and father in-law Edward and Eleanor, brother in laws Edward and Robert, his nephew Patrick, and his niece Nicole. May his spirit find eternal peace and rest among the angels and may the memories of his love and goodness continue to inspire us in our own lives.
Visitation will be held on Monday July 31 from 4PM – 7PM at Russell and Pica Funeral Home at 17 Main St, Lakeville MA 02347. A Funeral will be held on Tuesday August 1st at 10 a.m. followed by his burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Connery Ave, Buzzards Bay MA
Vinny, you were the life of the party, and your absence will be deeply felt. You touched the hearts of many, and the world feels a little dimmer without your light. May you rest in eternal peace, knowing that your love and laughter will forever resonate within us. You will never be forgotten, and your spirit will continue to live on through the lives you’ve touched.
