Dec 30, 2024

MIDDLEBORO — From colliding with a kangaroo in Australia to walking the shores of the Sea of Galilee, New Bedford author Matt Davis has experienced a world of travel experiences.

He will discuss some of those adventures at a talk at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the Middleboro Public Library. He will also sell and sign copies of his book, “At Home in the World: Reflections of a Travel Addict,’’ after the presentation.

The book is a travel memoir focusing on his experiences traveling through 35 different countries.

Davis was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts, but after decades in California, he moved back to the area in 2024.

In addition to being an avid traveler and author, Davis is a retired researcher and psychology professor who taught at Dominican University of California.

Registration is not required, but is requested for planning purposes, and can be done at midlib.org. This program is funded by the Friends of the Middleboro Public Library.
