Trunk or Treat! Central Congregational Church to bring Halloween event back to Middleboro
MIDDLEBORO — Grab your trunks, and get those treats. The Central Congregational Church will host its annual Trunk or Treat event this month.
The church will host its annual Trunk or Treat event Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Middleboro Town Hall parking lot. Families are invited to attend in family-friendly costumes to enjoy decorated vehicles and Halloween treats in a safe community setting.
The event offers children a safe way to collect candy and celebrate Halloween with their families. The Middleboro Fire and Police Departments are expected to participate again this year.

Free admission for Middleboro museum
MIDDLEBORO — The Middleboro Historical Association will extend free entrance to the museum it oversees on Saturday.
Visitors can attend the Middleboro Historical Museum at no charge Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as the association welcomes area residents and shows its appreciation for the community’s support.

Arts and crafts: Paint night
LAKEVILLE — Colors will take flight at an upcoming art class at the Lakeville Public Library.
Artist Elsie Goldstein will host a paint night Nov. 4 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. She will teach students how to paint a cardinal using acrylic paints.
