Rock out at First Friday show
MIDDLEBORO — The Bridge Church will soon turn into a rock music venue at its First Friday Rock Show, Friday, Oct. 3.
Three local bands — Subtle Places, Junior Varsity Chess Team and No Detour — will perform at the church at 31 Center St. Tickets are $10, and doors open at 7 p.m. Music lovers of all ages are welcome.

Lakeville Arts and Music Festival returns for 20th year
LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Arts and Music Festival will return for its 20th year of community, arts and crafts, music and more Oct. 4
The event will be held rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the junctions of Precinct Street and Routes 105 and 18, near the Lakeville Public Library.
Several musical acts will perform at the festival. Toe Jam Puppet Band will encourage parents and their caregivers to sing and dance with the band and accompanying shadow puppets. The Old Colony Highlanders, an inter-generational bagpipe and drum band, will also play on the festival grounds.
For visitors interested in shopping, there will be handcrafted items including jewelry, pottery, jams, leather goods, body care products and more.

Fall into downtown Middleboro
MIDDLEBORO — Downtown Middleboro will soon host an autumnal celebration during Fall Market Day.
The event will return Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will feature food, music and shopping at the small businesses in the area.
Musical performers will include Mary O., Ann Cavanaugh, Willie and the Corporates, and Natalie C.
