Sweet stuff: American Legion brings cookies to first responders

A quartet from Middleboro's Simeon L. Nickerson American Legion Auxiliary Unit 64 engaged in their annual "Easter Cookie" distribution for Middleboro and Lakeville First responders Easter weekend.
Large cookie trays were presented to Middleboro firefighters, police officers, ambulance crews, State Police and the Lakeville fire and police departments.
Auxiliary members, who participated in the tasty event were Pat Bettencourt, Debbie Schuster, Judy Hall and Mary Standish. Started in 2015, this was the eighth year that Unit 64 distributed trays of Easter cookies as a special "thank you" to local first responders.
