Spring Fling the latest offering from Lakeville Arts Council
LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Arts Council will add a new event to its schedule with a spring event from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at Loon Pond Lodge at Ted Williams Camp, 28 Precinct St.
The council also sponsors the Lakeville Arts & Music Festival, now in its 18th year, which will take place Sept. 30; the Center Stage Concert Series, which has been held every July since 2014; and the annual holiday event, “All That Glitters.”
There will be crafters/artisans offering handmade items such as spring wreaths, original watercolor and pastels on different fabrics and indigo printed textiles, handmade leather goods, stoneware pottery, seaglass jewelry and a variety of handblown glass items.
Other featured items will include birdhouses, stained glass mosaics, quilts, three-tier dessert/dish sets and soaps and salves.
The day’s events will also feature four adult workshops, as well as an inside and outside cash bar and an outside food offering, for a fee, by Loon Pond Lodge for anyone interested in picnicking outside on what organizers hope will be a beautiful spring day.
