Soule Homestead hosts community events in June, July

MIDDLEBORO — Summer will have plenty of soul as Soule Homestead, 46 Soule St., as the farm gears up for a busy season. .

Dave’s Pottery returns on June 17 to teach attendees how to make plant markers. The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon, takes place in the West Classroom, and costs $40 for members and $45 for non-members.

Learn about staying safe from mosquitos at a workshop at 10 a.m. July 8. The free workshop will take place at the pavilion.

A summer concert by Four Bridge will be performed 4:30 to 7 p.m. July 8. Those attending are asked to bring their own blanket and/or lawn chairs. Tickets are $10 for members, $15 for non-members, $5 for children and free for those younger than 3. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the event. 

Kids from ages 2-5 are invited to meet an animal, do crafts, and enjoy story time at First Farm Fun on July 11. The event runs from 10 to 11 a.m. and takes place near the barn. The event is free for members and costs $5 for non-members. Siblings are welcome to participate.
