LAKEVILLE — Girl Scouts from Daisy Troop 77318 and Brownie Troop 76200 recently visited various Lakeville town offices donating Girl Scout cookies.

Mixed cases of cookies were donated to fire and police personnel. The senior center received boxes to donate to their Meals on Wheels recipients. Other locations, including town offices, received mixed cookie platters.

“The Girl Scouts mission is to help build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place,’’ said Troop Leader Michelle Hecht. “Our troops had a very successful cookie selling season thanks to the generous people of Freetown and Lakeville. We are proud to donate a portion of our cookie inventory to town employees as a thank you for all they do to serve our caring community.”
