Learn to braid a rug at the Soule Homestead Education Center in Middleboro on Saturday, June 15.

According to the Soule Homestead Education Center, the workshop will run every third Saturday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The center will host a workshop, led by experienced rug braiding instructor Mary Guidoboni, where participants will learn how to lace together tight braids of wool with heavy thread to create circular rug designs, according to the Soule Homestead Education Center.

All ability levels are welcome at the workshop. 

The workshop costs $30 for new students who are members of the Soule Homestead Education Center and $40 for new students who are non-members. After attending two classes, the workshop costs $15 for returning members, and $25 for returning non-members.

Registration will close the Wednesday prior to the workshop.

The workshop will be held in the center’s East Classroom, and those interested in attending must pre-register online.
