Born in Middleborough, he was the son of the late Raymond & Marguerite (Remillard) Letendre.  For over 35 years, Richie was the owner of Foye and Letendre Landscaping formerly in Quincy.  He was an outdoorsman; Richie enjoyed being with nature.  He loved boating, camping, fishing, hunting, tiki party and travelling.  Most of all, Richie loved and cherished spending time with his family and friends.

 

Richie was the beloved husband for 58 years to Marilyn (Hatchfield) Letendre; loving father of Suzette Monteiro & her husband Richard of Middleborough, Richard Letendre, Jr. & his wife Heidi of Middleborough and Daniel Letendre & his wife Kelly of Lakeville; cherished Grampa of Justin Monteiro & his wife Megan, Danielle Elicier & her husband Jose, Dylan Letendre, Nathan Letendre, Daniel Letendre, Jr., Ryan Letendre, Joe Letendre and Great-Grampa of Mackenzie Monteiro and Luke Monteiro; dear brother of Claire Hershy of Quincy and the late Irene Hangas and Robert Letendre; and his beloved dog, Molly.  Richie is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

There will be NO visiting hours.
