MIDDLEBORO — After breaking a pushup record at the Plymouth Police Academy, Tyler Egan is now going to be spending more time in Middleboro.

On Wednesday, Jan. 17, the Middleboro Police Department announced that Egan would be the newest member of the force. Egan recently graduated from the Plymouth Police Academy.

Egan is no stranger to Middleboro. He is a Middleboro High School class of 2019 graduate, the department said, as well as a Middleboro resident.

While at the police academy, Egan broke an academy record for the most pushups completed in one minute. Egan completed 112 pushups, breaking the previous record of 109.
