LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Historical Commission and the 175th Anniversary Committee will meet at the Historic Town House, at Bedford and Precinct streets, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23 to begin planning the celebration of the town’s 175th anniversary in 2028. 

Lakeville was formed May 13, 1853 after breaking off from Middleboro.

The public is welcome to attend and make suggestions.
