MIDDLEBORO — The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Middleboro is holding a new fundraising event, a Pickleball Open Play and Food Drive, to take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 5 at the Lakeville Athletic Club, 325 Bedford St., Lakeville.

The $25 fee will go directly to support the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. Players are asked to also contribute some food items that are desperately needed at the pantry such as coffee, tea and breakfast items such as cereal or pancake mix.
