Mini-golf event to benefit library promises ‘hole’ lot of fun
MIDDLEBORO — A ‘hole’ lot of fun will be in store for adults and families as the Friends of the Middleboro Library hosts its 2023 Cranberry Classic, featuring mini-golf at the library on 102 N. Main St.
The classic will feature a 21-plus event Friday, April 21 from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person. The event included a free tasting area, cash bar and one free beverage.
A “Fore the Family’’ event for all ages will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22. A $5 donation is suggested per person, with a $25 maximum fee for families.
There will be free popcorn, a prize hole and a photo booth.
A Kid Zone minigolf area will be available so that young participants are not overwhelmed by long greens.
The "ace hole’’ sponsors are Freitas Liquor on Friday and Tom & Jimmy's on Saturday. Each is providing a door prize which provides everyone a chance to win. They are also providing items that will be raffled off.
Hole sponsors are able to "decorate their hole" so there could be some creativity and competition.
Tickets are available at Main Ingredient, 75 No. Main St. and Freitas Liquors, 16 Center St. They will also be available at the library during select hours which will be posted on the library web site, midlib.org, and at the door.
The event is a fund-raiser for the library.
