MIDDLEBORO — Mike D’Ericco of Middleboro has been named the new Midget Director for The Bridgewater Bandits Hockey Club.

D’Errico is a seasoned hockey coach, with more than 17 years of coaching within both Youth and Midget levels of play. He has spent successful years of head coaching at Brockton Youth Hockey (2005-2008), Brewins Youth Hockey (2010-2012 and 2020), South Shore Eagles Youth Hockey (2012-2016), Bridgewater Bandits Midgets (2021 to now) and East Bridgewater/West Bridgewater High School Varsity (2020 to now).

He lives in Middleboro with his wife Marla and children Kathleen, Michael, and Stephen.

He has been challenged to develop an organized and strong Midget’s program for the Bridgewater Bandits.

"I am excited about the opportunity to quickly build the Bridgewater Bandits Midget program to one of the premier programs in Massachusetts, while watching players positively prepare and develop for high school hockey alongside great Bandits coaching," D’Errico said.

The Bridgewater Bandits Hockey Club draws players from Boston to Rhode Island, the greater South Shore and throughout hockey-rich Cape Cod. All practices and home games are held at the Bridgewater Ice Arena in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

The Bandits philosophy is built on dedication, discipline and development. By providing a high-quality experience both on and off the ice, players learn the skills and strategies to continue their hockey career well beyond the Bandits.
