MIDDLEBORO — Downtown Middleboro isn’t missing out on Valentine's Day.

Rekindled Home, a store on 9 S. Main St., asked their customers to decorate small paper hearts with messages of love, which are displayed in the store’s front window inside of a giant heart.

“The idea behind the hearts is to ask people to share something that they love or something positive,” said Rekindled Home co-owner Sandy Cronin. “We’re trying to… show how much love there is here in downtown.”

“The goal is to fill the [larger] heart [with the smaller hearts] by Valentine’s Day,” Cronin explained. 

“Anyone can put a heart on there,” she added. “I’ve had children as young as three and grandmothers in their eighties.”
