LAKEVILLE — Local authors will share their stories at the Apponequet Regional High School Library on Saturday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Local Author Expo will showcase published authors, who will sign books and hold meet and greets with attendees.

Lakeville resident Tom Cirignano will be at the event. He published Memoirs of a South Boston Mechanic and 67 Cents: Creation of a Killer, both of which relate to his time living in South Boston at the height of Whitey Bulger’s rule over the streets.

Steven Manchester, an author of four national bestselling novels, will be in attendance.

Some of the other authors attending the expo will be Keith A. Carreiro, the author of The Immortality Wars book series; Theresa Mackiewicz, a special education professional who created the book series Scribbles; Angelina Singer, an author who also works as a journalist and editor; Brady Knight, a children’s book author living with Autism; Judy Cosby, an author of two memoirs and the creator of a 52-week gratitude journal; and Julie Garnett, the author of children’s song book Animal Songs.
