LAKEVILLE — A celebratory ice cream social was held last week at the Center on Aging, where attendees enjoyed cold treats as the summer season comes to a close.
The School’s Out Ice Cream truck, a family-owned Lakeville business, brought sweet treats and cold cravings to the Lakeville Center on Aging on Aug. 22.
A musical duo, the Rick Andre band, also performed their steel-drum music at the center. After the performance, the band shared how their steel drums are made, and how different shapes in the steel create the various music notes they play.
“It was a gorgeous afternoon made brighter with friends in leis and tropical attire,” representatives from the center wrote in a press release.
