Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, 10/8/2024 at 7pm at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, on a Request for Determination of Applicability. The applicant, Town of Lakeville, is proposing a water main installation at Clear Pond Park.

The applicant, Town of Lakeville, has filed an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation for the delineation of areas subject to protection under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act.

The LAKEVILLE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS, acting in accordance with MASS GENERAL LAWS CHAPTER 40A, as amended, will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. in the LAKEVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY, 4 PRECINCT STREET, upon the petition of Tyler Horan. Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, 10/8/2024 at 7pm at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, on a Notice of Intent. The applicant, Jim Kenney, is proposing to replace the retaining wall at the southern end of the property. The current wall (constructed in July 1977) consists of dated landscape timbers which are NO longer able to secure the banking along the existing shoreline. Replacement will be a capped retaining wall of concrete blocks following the footprint of the current timber wall, at the same height, with a slightly (6”) deeper footing.
The project is located at 5 Parkhurst Drive and is also identified as Assessor’s Map 056, Block 004, Lot 004.

Sec.11, the Middleborough Planning Board will hold a public hearing Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 6:45 PM in the Select Board’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, relative to an application for Site Plan Approval pursuant to Section 8.6 40R Smart Growth Overlay District (SGO) of the Town of Middleborough Zoning Bylaw to authorize the construction of a forty (40) unit rental development entitled “The Residences at Glass Square” located at 12 Station Street on the property of the former VFW, Middleborough, MA 02346 owned by Middleboro Overseas Veteran’s Inc. The plan is dated August 19, 2024 and prepared by Zenith Consulting Engineers, LLC, 3 Main Street, Lakeville, MA 02347. Said land is found on Assessors Map 50N, Lot 5974.
