Notice of Public Hearing

Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on November 22 at 7pm at the Lakeville Police Station on a Notice of Intent. The applicant, City of Taunton Water Division, is proposing the maintenance removal of trees and brush on and along the Assawompset Pond Dam.

The project is located off Staples Shore Road and is also identified as Assessor’s Map 64, Block 1, Plot 6 and 7.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

According to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, there will be a hearing on a Notice of Intent submitted by Lakeville United Church of Christ, for the construction of a septic system with a new 1500 gallon septic tank, 1000 gallon pump chamber and 36 infiltrator quick-4 plastic chambers within 100’ of a wetland bordering a tributary to a surface water supply and within 200’ of a perennial stream which is a tributary to a surface water supply. Also included is the removal / decommission of the existing septic system onsite. The location of the project is 3 Precinct Street, Lakeville (Map 30 Block 4 Lot 2). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 7:00p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.
