The Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing onTuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Lakeville Police Station Community Room, 323 Bedford Street on a Notice of Intent submitted by:

The proposed project is to install a new tight tank sewage disposal system for the existing single-family residence within the buffer zone of Long Pond. The project is located at 24 Fuller Shores Road and is further identified as Lot 001-006 of Map 44. The meeting is being held under the Mass. Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chapter 131 Sec. 40.

A small portion of the riding area & most of the turn out area are within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland at Lot-1 Miller Street, Map 99, Lot 3769. Hearing has been requested by Mark Nicholson. The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, for the removal of concrete and/or bituminous concrete floors associated with former building #2, building #3, shed B, and shed D. The removal and backfilling with clean soil of two interconnected drainage catch basin structures formerly present in building #2. Placement of loam and seed within former slab locations. All work is within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland and within 200’ riverfront area at 48 Wareham Street, Map 58D & 58H, Lots 1658 & 2422. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The LAKEVILLE PLANNING BOARD will hold a public hearing pursuant to the Town of Lakeville Code Bylaws and M.G.L. ch. 40A §5 on THURSDAY, May 23, 2024 at 7:00 PM. at the Lakeville Police Station Meeting Room, 323 Bedford Street. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide interested parties with an opportunity to comment on a proposed amendment to the Town of Lakeville Code Bylaws by deleting in its entirety Chapter 270, § 270-7.5 Mixed Use Development District regulations and to amend the following Sections of the Town Code Bylaws by deleting Chapter 270, §270-3.1, Zoning districts, Chapter 270, §270-3.2, Location of districts, and to amend the Zoning Map by removing the Mixed-Use Development District.

A draft of the proposed amendment to the Zoning Bylaw may be viewed at the Lakeville Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall, 346 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347 by appointment only. Amendments are also available for review on the Planning Board page of the Town website.
