Rotary Pump Station Upgrade
The Department of Public Works is requesting bids for the following: ROTARY PUMP STATION GENERATOR UPGRADE. Sealed General Contract bids will be received at the Town of Middleborough, Department of Public Works Building located at 65 Sachem Street, Middleborough, MA 02346 until Thursday, June 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: https://www.wright-pierce.com/projects immediately. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Five percent (5%) Bid Bond is required. A non-mandatory prebid meeting will be held 6/1/2023 at 11am at the Town of Middleborough, Department of Public Works Building. All bidders’ questions are due by not later than 12:00 PM, June 8, 2023. Liquidated Damages are required. Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal Wage Laws is required of all work done for the Town of Middleborough. Davis Bacon Wage Rates or Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable to this project, whichever is higher. Osha certification is required. General bidders must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the category of Electrical. General Bids shall be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for the category, and an Update Statement. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M Laws as amended, and other applicable Massachusetts General Laws. The Town of Middleborough reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all proposals or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town.

Sale of Rock Village School
Proposals are invited for the sale of Town-owned land and the building thereon, located at 63 Miller Street in Middleborough, and locally known at the Rock Village School. Proposals will be received in the Town Manager’s Office at 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA 02346 until 11:00 AM on June 20, 2023, at which time proposals will be opened publically. The Town will award the sale of the Town property, if at all, to the proposer whose submission is deemed the most advantageous taking into consideration price and the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP. Conveyance is subject to a permanent Historic Preservation Restriction acceptable to the Town and the Massachusetts Historical Commission, protecting the façade and the exterior appearance of the building in perpetuity. Proposers must be prepared to enter into a Purchase and Sale Agreement no later than 30 days after the date of award. Documents may be obtained beginning on May 17, 2023 at 8:00 AM in the Town Manager’s Office or via email to surettee@middleboroughma.gov.
