Section 8 Leased Housing Coordinator The Middleborough Housing Authority is seeking qualified applicants for the full time position of Section 8 Leased Housing Coordinator for the Federal Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program (157 vouchers). The Section 8 Coordinator is responsible for managing the voucher program from application to lease. The candidate will provide a high level of professional support to the families on the voucher program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, administrative planning, initiating reports required by the Housing Authority and HUD, resolving tenant/landlord issues, calculating and processing annual and interim rental changes utilizing good math skills and applying Federal Regulations that pertain to the program.

INVITATION TO BID

The Middleborough Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the 667-2 Nemasket Elderly Apartments Development for the Middleborough Housing Authority in Middleborough Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by TBA Architects, Inc.

The Project consists of: Roof Replacement at 21 and 25 Maddigan Way. Roof replacement is at 2 buildings with single gables, one 4 unit and one 6 unit in length. Strip to existing roof to deck, replace underlayment, shingles, ridge vent, drips and diverters.

The base bid work is estimated to cost $43,000.00

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

General Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, Wednesday July 10, 2024 and publicly opened online, forthwith.

The Middleborough Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 6:45 p.m. in the Select Board Meeting Room at the Middleborough Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, relative to a Fourth Modification of a Special Permit Application entitled “Proposed Loading Dock Expansion”. The property is located at 64 Leona Drive in Campanelli Industrial Park of Middleborough. The plan dated June 3, 2024 was prepared by Bohler Engineering, 352 Turnpike Road, Southborough MA 01772. The applicant proposes to reconfigure the existing approximately 750,000 square foot warehouse building into a multi-tenant facility and to add additional loading docks and parking spaces to the property. Said property can be found on Map 38, Lot 594.

43 Main Street, M060-B007- L001, L001D, L001G, L001I, L001J, L001L, L001P – Wingate Residences at Lakeville is proposed to be located on 9.76 acres with 708.3 feet frontage. – The applicant, John O’Leary, LLC, seeks Site Plan Review and Approval for a proposed senior living campus at the site of the former State Hospital. The property owner is Lakeville Owner LLC. The redevelopment will include 120 units of assisted living and memory care and 70 units of independent living with associated site improvements, parking area, landscape improvements, and stormwater infrastructure.

43 Main Street, M060-B007-L001, L001D, L001G, L001I, L001J, L001L & L001P - The Fox Estates will be located on 30.6 acres with 537 ft total frontage; 114 ft on Rhode Island Rd. and 423 ft along proposed subdivision road (Fox Hill Rd.) – The applicant John O’Leary, seeks Site Plan Review and Approval for a proposed 55+ age qualified cottage home development. The property owner is Lakeville Owner LLC. The proposed redevelopment includes 68 total units across 26 cottages (10 duplex, 16 triplex) a +/- 5,000 sf clubhouse, and a +/- 2,000 sf waste water treatment plant (which will service the entire Master Planned redevelopment of the former State Hospital property. Also proposed is a community amenity space, associated site improvements, new roadway, parking areas, landscape improvements, and stormwater infrastructure.
