The Middleborough Conservation Commission will hold a hearing under M.G.L. c. 131, s.40, the Wetlands Protection Act, for an Amended Order of Conditions to include a newly proposed irrigation well on site, within 100’ of a bordering vegetated wetland at 150 Everett Street & Everett Street (off), Map 41M, Lot 4923, Map 40, Lot 4895 and Map 41, Lot 4187. MIDDLEBOROUGH SKATEPARK
AT 48 WAREHAM STREET

The Town of Middleborough, Massachusetts is inviting the submission of sealed Bids for the construction of a Skatepark at 48 Wareham Street. Bid packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on August 14, 2025 in the Town Manager’s Office, located at 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, or via email request to JMulcahy@middleboroughma.gov. Bids must bereceived in the Town Manager’s Office by 2:00 PM on September 18, 2025, at which time and place they will be opened publicly and read aloud. An optional pre-bid site visit will occur at 10:00 AM on August 27, 2025 at 48 Wareham Street, Middleborough. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the construction of and approximately 7,500 SF skatepark and all work incidental thereto. The Project has an estimated contract value of $750,000. Bidders must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law.

The Town of Middleborough, Massachusetts is undertaking a program to update all Real Property for Fiscal Year 2027 pursuant to the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Copies of the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on August 14, 2025 in the Town Manager’s Office, between the hours of 8AM to 6PM on Mondays, 8AM to 5PM Tuesday through Thursdays, and 8AM to 12PM on Fridays, or via email to JMulcahy@middleboroughma.gov. Pursuant to M.G.L. Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on August 26, 2025 at 6:30 pm at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, on a Notice of Intent filing. The applicant, Chris Walker of the Crystal Waters Anglers Club, is proposing an invasive/nuisance vegetation management program using herbicide and algaecide. The project is located at 27 Taunton Street and is also identified as Assessor’s Map 24, Block 4, Plot 9.

Ch 131, the Wetlands Protection Act, the Lakeville Conservation Commission will hold a public hearing on 8/26/2025 at 6:30pm at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford Street, on a Request for Determination of Applicability. The applicant, Nina Salamon, is proposing the addition of a porch that will tie into the existing foundation and retaining wall.
The project is located at 19 Pine Bluff and is also identified as Assessor’s Map 065 Block 004 Lot 008B
