NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
According to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40 of the Wetlands Protection Act, there will be a hearing on a Request for Determination of Applicability by David Oliveira for removal of existing septic system and installation of a new 1500-gallon septic tank, 1000 gallon pump chamber and 20 infiltrator quick-4 plastic chambers within 100’ of an offsite wetland. The location of the project is 4 Wildwood Road, Lakeville (Map 43 Block 5 Lots 11 & 12). The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 7:00p.m. at the Lakeville Police Station, 323 Bedford St., Lakeville.

WINDOW REPLACEMENT FOR THE MIDDLEBOROUGH PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Middleborough Public Library, an entity part of the Town of Middleborough, Massachusetts, acting by and through its Board of Library Trustees, is inviting the submission of sealed Bids for the project known as the Window Replacement for the Middleborough Public Library. Bid packages may be obtained beginning at 8:00 AM on August 1, 2024 in the Town Manager’s Office, located at 10 Nickerson Ave, Middleborough, or via email request to surettee@middleboroughma.gov. Bids must be received in the Town Manager’s Office by 10:00 AM on August 23, 2024, at which time and place they will be opened publically and read aloud. An optional pre-bid site visit will occur at 10:00 AM on August 8, 2024 at the Project site, located at 102 North Main Street, Middleborough. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of windows and all work incidental thereto. Bidders must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Select Board will hold a public hearing in the Select Board’s Meeting Room at the Town Hall, 10 Nickerson Avenue, Middleborough, MA on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 7:30 PM, for the purpose of discussing an application filed by Outback Engineering, Inc. for a Special Permit under the Water Resource Protection District By-Law to allow for the construction of a 16’ wide gravel driveway to access 2 single family home lots through the 25’ wetland buffer zone. The property is located at 16 Vernon Street, in the General Use (GU) and in Water Resource Protection District (WRPD) Zone 4. This is shown on Assessors Map 037, Lot 3069. Anyone wishing to be heard on this matter should appear at the time and place designated.
