LAKEVILLE — The Community College of Rhode Island has named Lakeville resident Shilo Henriques as its Dean of Enrollment Management, Systems and Innovation.

Henriques brings more than 20 years of experience leading higher education enrollment management systems to this redesigned position.

Henriques previously worked at Massasoit Community College, where she served seven years as Dean of Enrollment Management, leading the Enrollment Management Division
across three campus locations and implementing a culture to streamline, simplify, and improve the student experience from inquiry through graduation, Community College of Rhode Island officials report.

She has served as Dean of Admissions at Bristol Community College, Associate Director of Admissions at Cape Cod Community College and has held several positions in Admissions at Curry College.

She was a 2015 recipient of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Excellence Award and a 2009 Cape Cod Community College
Pathways to Student Success Award for innovation in college access.

She earned a bachelor of arts and master’s degree in education, both from Curry College, and is seeking a doctorate of Management in Community College Policy and Administration from the
University of Maryland Global Campus.

In her new role as Dean of Enrollment Management,Systems and Innovation, she will work to position the college as a model for data-informed student- centric policy, practice and application of technology among public two-year colleges; lead equity-minded workflow reviews and conduct path analyses across the student life cycle; and leverage current data and emerging technologies to help provide greater personalization and more connected services.
