Lakeville Garden Club to host program on herbs

LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Garden Club will host “Herbs for All Seasons’’ at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Council on Aging, 1 Dear Crossing, Lakeville. 

The club will meet at 7 p.m., followed by the program at 7:30 p.m.

Paul Split of Horticultural Connections will share information on growing techniques including fertilization and watering for a bountiful harvest. The program is free, accessible, open to the public, and refreshments will be served by Donna Glidden, Lorraine Krupnick, and Nina Mach. 

The Lakeville Garden Club is also gearing up for its participation in the Saturday, Sept. 30 Lakeville Arts & Music Festival at the intersection of Precinct and Bedford streets. 

The club is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc., the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., and the National Arbor Day Society. Meetings are open to the public and membership is not limited to Lakeville residents.
