LAKEVILLE — Collin Hunt, a Lakeville resident and diesel technician, is among 10 vehicle repair technicians from the United States and Canada to advance to the final round of a nationwide competition.
The 2025 Daimler Truck North America Technician Skills Competition pits the best-of-the-best diesel technicians against each other to award top-competitors for their vehicle repair skills. Hunt has worked at a Raynham-based company, Advantage Truck Group, since 2021.
Nearly 500 technicians entered the competition. He will compete in the final competition in Detroit, Michigan on Oct. 20.
"I love working on any complex issue and the challenge of solving the problem,” Hunt stated in a press release. “There’s no way to prepare for this competition, but I’m ready for the challenge."
