The Lakeville Arts and Music Festival is right around the corner
LAKEVILLE — The 19th annual Lakeville Arts and Music Festival is just a few days away, set for Saturday, Oct. 5.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of Precinct Street and Bedford Street near the Lakeville Public Library. There will be a variety of performers including Magician Awesome Rob, the Old Colony Highlander Bag Pipe Band, CardBoard Ox Duo, Henry the Juggler and Judi the Hula Hoop performer.
A silent auction will be held giving away items and gift cards from local businesses and crafters at the festival. The event will feature lots of handmade and one-of-a-kind crafts such as CBD products, gnomes, soap, recycled dish sets, scarves, table decor, handbags and more.
Those interested in learning more about the newly created MBTA rail line in the area can field questions to Keolis Commuter Services. Keolis Commuter Services operates the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s 14 commuter rail lines serving the Greater Boston region and will be at the festival.
Old Colony Highlanders Pipe Band is looking for new members and will have an open house at the festival. The band accepts those with and without experience. The group is a multigenerational organization and members range from high school students to retired professionals. An information table will be set up at the fair for those looking to learn more.
