Lakeville artist to be showcased at Marion display
LAKEVILLE — A Lakeville artist is one of three area friends and award-winning artists who will be displaying their works at the Marion Council On Aging starting July 28. More than 35 original pieces will be for sale, framed and ready to go.
Jane Fitzgerald-Egan from Lakeville creates landscapes, botanical paintings, and animal renderings.
Fitzgerald-Egan is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She is a member of the Marion Art Center, and Taunton Art Association. She has exhibited her work in many galleries, has received best in show awards, and has recently been juried into a national pastel show. She primarily works in pastel, oil pastel, and oil paint.
The other two artists to be showcased are Jennifer Cipriano from Marion and Charles J. Wood from East Wareham.
The show runs from July 28 through Aug. 27. Hours at the Marion Council on Aging, 465 Mill St., Marion, are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
