Johnny Cash returns to the spotlight at Middleboro concert

Apr 20, 2023

MIDDLEBORO — The Man in Black is back – and he’s performing in Middleboro.

Rodney Brunelle is bringing the sounds of Johnny Cash to The Alley Theatre in Middleboro on May 19.

Brunelle was influenced by Johnny Cash as a child and decided to use his Cash-sounding voice to sing the songs of the country legend all over New England.

Brunelle’s mission is to continue to build a fan base for one of the country's most popular entertainers. From the first song to the last, audiences will hear his striking vocal resemblance to Cash.

His sister Jorene Lange will share the stage with her brother as June Carter as they perform duets.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Music begins at 6:30pm. The Bartending Service of New England will be pouring. Food options are available. Seating is cabaret style at tables and chairs.

For tickets email burtwoodschool@aol.com. Tickets are $30 each and half of the proceeds benefit The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts scholarship program.
