Janice E. (Fogg) Rodman, 70
With heavy hearts, the family of Janice E. (Fogg) Rodman announces her passing on January 17, 2026.
She was 70 years old and born in Brockton (MA). She was the daughter of the late David W. and Phyllis (Schofield) Fogg. Janice leaves behind her husband, Ken, with whom she shared 45 years of love, laughter, and partnership. She was cherished by her two daughters, Tiffany Rodman Widdop and her son Jack, of West Bridgewater (MA), and Jessica (Rodman) Zieser and her husband Tom, and their son Maverick, of Maple Shade, N.J.; and her sister, Carol Fogg, of Brockton (MA). She was also predeceased by her brother, David Fogg, of Brockton (MA).
Jan graduated from Brockton High School in 1973 and went on to earn a certificate from the Brockton Beauty Academy. After moving to Lakeville (MA), where she made her home for 38 years, she worked in hairdressing, day care, and various other jobs while raising her children. Later, she found her passion in payroll at I Compute Business, where she worked for approximately 10 years.
Jan was very kind and loved a good time. In her earlier years, she water-skied, enjoyed horseback riding, and downhill skiing. Many happy memories were made with friends and family down at her dad's house on Long Pond - swimming, boating, and having lobsta's on the deck. She had a knack for indoor plants, gardening, and raising chickens. She was a wiz in the kitchen, famous for many family favorites, most notably her seafood chowder. She was crafty and dabbled in stained glass, painting, and quilting. She had a fondness for old black and white films, and an eclectic taste in music. Most importantly, she was a loving, devoted, caring, and supportive partner, mom, Nini (and Nana), and more.
Family and friends gathered to pay their respects during visiting hours which were held on Tuesday January 27, 2026, from 4:00-7:00PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, located at 280 Bedford Street, Lakeville, MA 02347.
