Irish/Celtic harpist to perform Jan. 23 at Lakeville Library

LAKEVILLE — The Lakeville Public Library presents “An Evening with Áine Minogue’’ from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. Minogue is an award-winning Irish/Celtic harpist, Gaelic/Irish singer, arranger, and composer.

Born and raised in Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland, Minogue has performed for audiences around the world including presidents and prime ministers. She has recorded 16 albums. Her music draws from Irish, Celtic, world, ethnic, folk, ambient, and Spiritual styles.

This event is free and open to the public. A snow date of Jan. 30 has been set for this performance; check the library website at www.lakevillelibrary.org, its social media pages, or call 508-947-9028 to find out whether the performance will be postponed.
