Herring Run festival splashes into Middleboro April 13, 14

MIDDLEBORO — In a sure sign of spring, the herring are running and the annual Herring Run Festival will be taking place in Middleboro.

The event, in its 12th year, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 at Oliver Mill Park, Route 44 and Nemasket Street.

There will be music, exhibits, and demos in addition to vendors, both merchant and food, a beer garden, and the stars of the show, the herring. Admission, parking and shuttle buses are free.
