MIDDLEBORO — Get to know all that the Middleboro food scene has to offer with the upcoming event Fall in Love with Middleboro: A Local Food Experience. This tasting will give attendees the opportunity to sample an array of food from local venues, and is put on by the Friends of the Middleboro Public Library.

The tasting will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Middleboro Public Library, 102 North Main St.

Those attending may sample an array of food items from local spots like Central Cafe, Fireside Grille, Freitas Liquors, Home Rootts Bistro, Italian Gem Cafe, Coffee Milano Cafe, Joyful Scoops, Main Ingredient, Lindsay’s Local,  The Acai Spot, and The Hideaway.

Attendees will also be able to place orders for specialty items and purchase gift certificates. A cash bar will be provided by Harper Lane Brewery. There will also be raffles for gift certificates to local food establishments.
