Former Conjuring House resident to speak at Alley Theater
MIDDLEBORO — Celebrity author, speaker, and former resident of The Conjuring House Andrea Perron will be at The Alley Theatre from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct.29.
Her childhood home inspired the movie, "The Conjuring." She will be offering a presentation ending with a question and answer session, and book signing
"The Conjuring” is based on the accounts of the Perron family, who lived in the Rhode Island home. Carolyn and Roger Perron, along with their five daughters, moved into the house during the 1970s where they first reported small, yet inexplicable events within the home.
Admission is $25. Proceeds benefit The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts. Perron will be singing and selling copies of her book "House of Darkness House of Light." Reservations must be made in advance by emailing burtwoodschool@aol.com, seating is limited.
